How to use ClipMath
ClipMath is the planning layer Reel Remix's own sales page skips. It doesn't touch your videos — it helps you decide what to build, whether your credits cover it, and how to split your account across clients, before you spend a single render.
i Where to start
Three tabs, one after another, matching how you'd actually use Reel Remix at increasing scale:
- Pathfinder — plan a single project: which Reel Remix engines to run, in what order, and roughly what it'll cost in credits.
- Budget — zoom out to your whole month: how much you're likely to spend, and whether the Founders Bundle, Mega, or Mega Lite tier actually covers it.
- Roster — for agencies: split one shared credit pool and your client workspaces across a real list of clients without overselling capacity.
If you only use Reel Remix for yourself, start with Pathfinder and Budget. If you're running client accounts, all three matter.
1 Goal-to-Pipeline
Tell it what you're starting with and what you want out. It hands back the exact order of Reel Remix engines to run.
- Choose your Source (a video clip or a photo) and your Content goal.
- Set how many finished pieces you need, and tick Add captions, Translate to other languages, or extra Aspect ratios if you need them.
- Press Build My Pipeline. The ordered engine sequence appears on the right.
- Press Save to keep it, or Copy to paste it elsewhere. Past pipelines live in Saved Pipelines below — press Open on any row to reload those exact inputs, or Delete to remove it.
2 Credit Cost Estimator
Turns the pipeline you just built into an estimated total credit spend.
- Build a pipeline in tool 1 first — this tool reads it automatically.
- Adjust Output count, Languages or Ratios here if they differ from what you set above.
- Press Estimate Credits. Press Save to log the estimate — it's what Budget's forecaster can import later.
3 Style & Language Matrix Builder
For a project with more than one finished variant, this lays out every combination you'll end up with.
- Set how many visual Styles, tick the Aspect ratios and Languages you want.
- Press Build Matrix to see the full grid and total variant count.
- Save / Copy / reopen work the same as every other tool.
4 Monthly Burn-Rate Forecaster
Projects how many credits you'll actually use in a month, from your real production plan.
- Enter Videos per week, pick a Typical complexity, and set Variants per video — or press Import from Pathfinder to pull in your last saved credit estimate instead.
- Press Forecast My Month.
5 Tier-Fit Comparator
Runs your forecast against the Founders Bundle, Mega, and Mega Lite tiers and tells you which one actually fits.
- It auto-fills from the forecast above — adjust the pool/refill sizes if your account shows different numbers.
- Press Compare Tiers to see runway and a recommendation.
6 Runway Tracker
A running ledger: log credits as you actually spend them and see your real balance against your forecast.
- Set your Starting credit pool.
- Log spend with Date, Credits spent, Note, then press Add Entry — or press Log Pathfinder Estimate to add your last saved project estimate directly.
- The ledger autosaves as you go. Press Save Snapshot to keep a named copy (e.g. before a new month starts) in Saved Ledgers.
7 Capacity Allocator
Splits your monthly credit pool across your actual client list and flags anyone you can't cover.
- Set your Credit pool this month (or press Import from Budget).
- Press + Add Client for each client, filling in their name, deliverables, and workload.
- Press Allocate to see each client's fair share and any shortfall, plus your workspace/reseller-seat usage.
8 Per-Client Delivery Tracker
Reads the same client list from Capacity Allocator — add clients there first.
- Enter Delivered so far for each client.
- Press Update Tracker to see who's on track for the month and who's behind.
9 Margin Snapshot
Also reads your Capacity Allocator client list. You enter what each client is charged — ClipMath never suggests a price.
- Set Cost per credit (defaults to a typical Founders-tier estimate — edit it to match your own numbers).
- Enter what each client is Charged and press Calculate Margin to see real profit per account.
✓ One thing to know
Everything you enter stays in your own browser (localStorage) — there's no account, no server, and nothing ever leaves your device. Credit numbers here are ClipMath's own planning estimates, built to help you budget ahead of time — always confirm the exact cost Reel Remix shows you before you actually render.
Pathfinder
Know exactly which Reel Remix engines to run, in what order, before you touch a single render.
Goal-to-Pipeline Rule Engine
Reel Remix's own "Getting Started" walkthrough shows one video, one engine. This maps the full sequence for your actual project.
Fill in your project and press Build My Pipeline.
Credit Cost Estimator
Totals an estimated credit spend for the whole chain above — the cost of the full project, not one render at a time.
Reads the pipeline you just built in tool 1 above.
Build a pipeline in tool 1, then press Estimate Credits.
Style & Language Matrix Builder
For a multi-output project, see every finished variant you'll get from one source clip — before running a single render. This is combination math only; it never recommends which style to use.
Set your styles, ratios and languages, then press Build Matrix.
Budget
Find out if your credit pool covers your real production plan — before you buy the wrong tier.
Monthly Burn-Rate Forecaster
Projects real monthly credit consumption from your own production plan, instead of a single flat per-tier number.
Set your production plan and press Forecast My Month.
Tier-Fit Comparator
Runs your forecast against all three purchasable tiers and flags when each one would run dry.
Auto-fills from your last forecast above.
Defaults are typical starting figures — check your own account and adjust.
Forecast a month above, then press Compare Tiers.
Runway Tracker
Logs credits actually spent and reconciles your real balance against your monthly forecast.
Set a starting pool and add an entry to see your runway.
Roster
Split one credit pool across every client without overselling what you can deliver.
Capacity Allocator
Assigns a credit and workspace budget per client and flags anyone over their fair share of the shared pool — math the "5 workspaces / 25 reseller seats" stat never does for you.
Add clients and press Allocate.
Per-Client Delivery Tracker
Reads your Capacity Allocator client list. Shows what's delivered against what was promised before a client has to ask.
Add clients in Capacity Allocator above first.
Add clients above, then press Update Tracker.
Margin Snapshot
Takes what each client is charged — a number you enter, never calculated or suggested here — against their actual credit cost, and shows real margin per account.
Default ≈ $127 Founders Bundle ÷ 2,500 credits. Edit to match your own numbers.
Add clients in Capacity Allocator above first.
